What is a tirefit kit or tyre mobility system (TMS)?
A tirefit kit (also called a tyre mobility system, or TMS) is the original puncture-repair solution fitted by many manufacturers in place of a spare wheel. It consists of a bottle of tyre sealant and a 12V compressor: the sealant seals small punctures in the tread while the compressor re-inflates the tyre, so you can get safely to the nearest garage.
How does a tirefit kit work and how do you use the tyre sealant?
Connect the sealant bottle to the compressor, screw the hose onto the tyre valve, dispense the sealant and use the compressor to inflate the tyre to the specified pressure. Then drive a few kilometres so the sealant spreads evenly, check the pressure again and continue to the garage at reduced speed. Always follow your vehicle manufacturer's instructions.
What's included in a tirefit kit?
Our genuine kits include a bottle of tyre sealant (200, 430 or 450 ml depending on the vehicle) and an electric 12V compressor — some also with a storage bag and tools. Every item is brand-new and carries the original manufacturer's part number.

Can I buy just a tyre sealant refill?
Yes. If your compressor still works, a new sealant bottle is all you need. We also offer the genuine tyre sealant on its own as a refill — matched to your existing kit.
Is a tirefit repair permanent?
No. A tirefit kit is a temporary emergency fix to get you safely to a garage. The tyre must then be inspected by a professional and usually replaced; the kit is not suitable for larger damage to the sidewall or tread.
