Genuine VW Headlight Switch for Golf 7, e-Golf, Touran 2 and T6.1 – Black Light Switch
Part number: 5G0941431BGWZU
Genuine VW Accessories®
This genuine VW headlight switch replaces the multi-function light switch in your VW Golf 7 (2013-2020), VW T6.1 (2020-2024), VW e-Golf (2014-2020) or VW Touran 2 5T (since 2016). The original part with part number 5G0941431BGWZU comes from Volkswagen: no replica, but the genuine part.
The black plastic switch has a rotary knob with a silver-coloured surround. The symbols on the panel show the positions off, side lights and dipped beam as well as the rear fog light. This switch has no AUTO position, as the product photos show.
Ideal if your old light switch no longer works reliably or the knob is worn: you use this switch every day, and the new, unused original part puts it right again. You receive 1 piece, and the label on the box carries part number 5G0 941 431 BG WZU.

The switch is intended for the VW Golf 7 (2013-2020), the VW T6.1 (2020-2024), the VW e-Golf (2014-2020) and the VW Touran 2 5T (since 2016). Please check part number 5G0941431BGWZU against your vehicle before buying.
Which functions does the switch show?
The symbols on the panel show off, side lights and dipped beam as well as the rear fog light.

Is the headlight switch new?
Yes. The switch is new and unused. The label on the Volkswagen box shows part number 5G0 941 431 BG WZU, and the switch itself is marked 5G0941431BG.
Expert tips
- Compare the part number with your vehicle or have it confirmed using your vehicle identification number (VIN).
- Before buying, compare the symbols on your old switch with the product photos, especially if your switch has an AUTO position.
- Clean the switch only with a soft, dry cloth so that the symbols and surround keep looking good.
- Keep the switch in its box until you need it and store it dry so that the connector stays clean.
